The world population was griped,by increased psychological distress,when the covid -19 descended on the human race,with wide range of adversities,impacting peoples finances,basic needs,illnesses,concern for friends and families,bereavement,loss of business,insufficient food,medicine and accommodation.
After the pandemic,millions of people lost focus in life,some experiencing poor mental health issues,especially old people,young adults and women. Including the black Asian minority ethnic group (BAME), single parents and people who lives alone.
As the negative effects of the pandemic related stressors enveloped the globe,how did people cope.Even as personality type,influenced coping strategies,as individuals engaged in exercises like walking,running,in-door activities,keeping routines,binge eating,engaging in creative activities like painting,writing and story telling.
In view of all these covid-19 pandemic inconsistencies and negative impact,it becomes important that we understand these patterns and predicators of coping strategies,to enable us identify who is most at need for a psychological or any type of support,which as a learning curve,will help to handle such impacts,in case of any future repeat occurrence.
